    About Me:

I'm very passionate about gardening (I'm still learning though) , growing my own food and taking care of my family which consists of the best husband ever and 4 wonderful felines. It pains me to see how wasteful most people are so I try to recycle and reuse everything I possibly can. I'm learning about composting, I get excited when my husband brings me cow manure as a "gift" and think lady bugs on turnip greens from the farmers market are just marvelous. Right now I"m trying to figure out how I can turn our garden and backyard into a healthy ecosystem where every plant and bug benefit each other, and my wonderful husband, who doesn't believe nor is he interested in such things, still supports me and does the hard jobs of digging, building, installing irrigation, etc. I"m hungry to learn more and get great ideas.
