About Me:
I'm married, have two engineering degrees, and I care about the food I eat. I love to learn, but I have limited available free time. I live on almost an acre in Tempe, and have a huge vegetable garden and a small orchard. My goal is to have the most edible yard in the neighborhood (or city!), but I know my garden is not nearly as productive as it could be. I am vehemently opposed to pesticide and herbicide use anywhere it can contaminate my food or home. And I want to do all I can to avoid GMOs in my life as well.

There are many volunteer opportunities to assist with classes and events, so please let me know if you are interested in helping out when available.
We offer a variety of classes to our members on requested fee basis ($15 or more) that goes toward venue hard-costs, also to our experienced and knowledgeable instructors, as well as to support the non-profit in providing quality education for improving our health, our communities and environment.
