Welcome to the team, Julie. You bring many years of success with growing vegetables, canning/freezing, and overcoming the elements of Arizona. I know your exuberance for the sustainable life will complement that of the Valley Permaculture Alliance.

    About Me:

My husband and I live on 3 irrigated acres. We have an orchard of orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangelo, tangerine, plum, peach, pomegranate, almond, apple, and apricot. We also grow blackberries and boysenberries. We have had great success with raised garden beds and growing our herbs in large pots. Our "girls" are kept in portable pens so they get fresh grass every day and we get wonderful eggs! I bake all our bread and rolls, make yogurt, ricotta, jams and jellies, can and freeze our garden produce.
