  The ducks are Muscovy, the quackless ones. The two girls just started laying a week or so ago. The drake, Errol Flynn metamorphosed into Darth Vader, so he is now a pasture ornament in New River. Their bath tub, see the pics, might provide a source of nitrogen for the Aquaponics. The aquaponics system going into my front yard, as I am currently envisioning it, will consist of an 7' x 7' 320 gallon converted jacuzzi for Tilapia or other food fish raising and two existing block raised planting beds supporting Hydroponic style vegetables. The jacuzzi is water tight and in the ground, and there I am stalled. You are welcome to just come and meet the girls anytime. Just give me a shout.

  Fascinating! I'd love to get your thoughts on a aquaponics project I am in the middle of, my place is about 1/2 a mile or so from you.
