Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the VPA when signing up! There are many volunteer opportunities to assist with classes, the seed library, in the office, and at events like the annual Tour de Coops and Mesquite Pancake Breakfast. We are hosting a Volunteer Orientation at the VPA Office on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:30pm-8:00pm, and we would love for you to be there. Please RSVP here. We also encourage you to join the Volunteer Group to stay alerted of all the volunteer opportunities we have available. You, the Volunteer, make it possible for the VPA to accomplish our mission of inspiring sustainable urban living in the desert southwest. And we look forward to getting to know you!

Heh, came across your name while helping in office.  You are suppose to get a welcome message from the volunteer manager (but really me).  Just saying hello.  You going to do the tomato class with me on Saturday.  Guess who?

    About Me:

I grew up on a farm, with pigs, cows, goats, chickens, rabbits and a vegetable garden. I milked the goats every morning and was a member of 4-H. As an adult, I founded a non-profit international school in the South Pacific, where I served as the school's director for 4 years. Recently, I went back to school and now have an architecture degree. My main interests are pursuing opportunities that improve the lives and living conditions of others; I hope to inspire others towards a love for learning about responsible, healthy living.
