Hello Ellen! Glad you joined! Have you heard about Roberta Paolo, also known as Granny in the Garden? She is coming here to the valley in December and has 2 talks about using the garden as a teaching experience for children. I am thinking about going. Here is the link to the event. Ryan was curious if you are composting in place :) Probably see you around Winfields!

About Me:

I'm an Arizona native from Chandler (when it only had 4,000 people) so I grew up in an agricultural environment. I'm remodeling a 1959 house in South Scottsdale and trying to incorporate greener living characteristics into my family's lifestyle. Rather than "landscaping" the backyard, I want to learn about sustainable gardening in the Southwest. I have a lot to learn and hope the Permaculture Guild can help me learn quickly.
