How is everything with you,I picked interest on you after going through your short profile,I have something very vital to disclose to you,but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on(brunoserra@outlook.fr)for the full details.
    Have a nice day.

  • Hi Christina, I build 2 different coops like you are inquiring about, 0ne is 2x2x8 and the other is 45"x2'x8'. you can add wheels to either one. I have not drawn up any plans as most people come to the house and look. The small coop has about $50 dollars in material, the large one has $110 materials in it. They are built with minimum waste. Check out Craigs list....I have photos in my add. Thanks....Mark
  • I'm glad you were able to find a helpful site.  Good luck and have fun! :)  Post updates with your progress, I would love to see how it's going.

  • Hi Cristina,

Welcome! :)  I am new to this whole thing as well.  These are my first set of chicks too.  Isn’t it fun?  When we were looking to build our coop it was really hard to find free coop designs that were complete let alone ones that I liked, so we created the coop ourselves.  We found several coops that we liked pieces of, and combined elements from them to make our coop.  We used Google SketchUp (Free Program) to design the coop to the dimensions we wanted.  We had to keep the roof line low due to association rules, and aesthetics were important because our neighbor has full view of our backyard. :(  Neither my husband nor I are overly handy.  In fact my husband had never built ANYTHING before this.  If we can do it I know you will be able to do it too.   I will talk to the hubby and see if I can send you the plans.  I think we can upload designs to the public on Google SketchUp.  Be forewarn these will not be professional designs so if you use them you will probably have question, but you can always ask us. :)  You also might want to look at three faced coop designs.  I don’t know how easy they are to build, but I like the amount of ventilation it offers for the Arizona heat.  Good luck! :)
