Thanks for your comment on our coop. Yes we built it. I designed it and my husband did all the fun building of it. It has worked out quite well for our 2 hens. There are 3 nesting boxes but they both use the same one. :) We had 3 hens originally but one got sick and died shortly after we moved them in. I'm undecided yet as to replace her as we still get more than enough eggs for the 2 of us.

About Me:
I am an avid cook and I'd like to grow my own vegetables and herbs. I am also very interested in building a chicken coop and keeping a small flock of 3-4 hens for pets and the side benefit of fresh eggs.
