Water from Washing Machine

Hi.... I am running the water from the washing machine into the Chicken Run/Compost pile.  Does anyone know of a home made eco friendly washing detergent?

      A washer ball? I have never heard of such a thing. I will have to try it!

    Oasis has a liquid detergent that is Bio-compatible. It breaks down into nutrients that plants use. You can get gallon sizes at the Phx. Public Market. A little bit of a cost, but you use less than what you would with a name brand plus get nutrients.
