    Perhaps you should all thank me for the rain (just kidding). We have had our rain barrels ready for a while now, but decided we had to shade the garden first. That done, we are putting up gutters on Sunday! Figures it would rain Thursday, Friday, Saturday!

      You're right though Barbara, the rain was your doing. Thank you, thank you! I haven't even had the A/C on today (unlike many of you admirable stalwarts, when it tops 100, my A/C goes on for the summer).
      Barbara, looks like the rain will stop on Sunday. We are very grateful for what we got!

    Just got in from weeding a bit, wet earth makes that an easy chore! I barely broke a sweat. Bucket brigade all full!

    We even got rain up here in the NW valley, it is so glorious! Don't know how much, but rain barrels also in operation. Ah....
