I am helping coordinate the Watershed Management Group's Water Harvesting Course here in Phoenix. We are looking for workshop hosts that would like to install a water harvesting system at their home or business. We're also looking for 3 sites for the design segments of the course at no charge to the site owner. Please let me know if you are interested and/or have any questions, rwood@watershedmg.org or 602.618.6650.
Thank you,
Ryan
Host a Professional Water Harvesting Workshop and Have a Discounted System Installed
Do you want to implement a greywater, cistern, or earthworks project at your home or business this coming spring? Through our Water Harvesting Certification Course, Watershed Management Group can work with you to install a variety of water harvesting systems at discounted rates. As a host, not only do you receive a top-notch water harvesting system at your home or business, you also play an important role in supporting the premier hands-on water harvesting training for professionals and educators.

A workshop instructor will work with you to design and plan the system, and then will lead the project installation with students in our green job training courses. Workshops will take place on pre-selected dates during our scheduled Water Harvesting Certification Course, February 24 through March 4, 2012, and will include the following project types:
- Passive water harvesting earthworks and landscaping
- Greywater — laundry machine or bath/shower/sink
- Cistern — above-ground rainwater harvesting tank, plastic or culvert style
- Design site — a site suitable for a design charrette (collaborative workshop to draft a solution to a design challenge) at no charge to the site owner
To apply to make your site a workshop location for an upcoming course, please contact Ryan Wood at rwood@watershedmg.org or 602.618.6650
