Looking for Heritage Wheat Berries (or flour)

Many people in my family have a gluten intolerance. We have heard Turkey Hard Red Wheat a.k.a. Turkey Heritage Red Wheat can be eaten by many people with a gluten intolerance. Does anyone know where in the valley I can obtain some of this wheat to try?

  • We saw it at Native Seeds on Friday.  You can mail order it or pick it up in their retail store in Tucson.  Did you check Whole Foods or Sprouts.  The have a lot of different gluten free flours.

  • Well, it seems that nobody has seen this who knows where to find it.  Perhaps try the good folks at Hayden Flour Mill?  http://www.haydenflourmills.com/  They work with heritage breeds of wheat and might have heard of this...
