This month's SLHI Community of Practice Community Garden Meeting will feature Doreen Pollack
discussing her experience and insight from this year's American Community
Garden Association Annual Conference "Community Gardening on the Cutting
Edge". For those of you who couldn't attend, please join us to hear what is
going on around the country with this growing movement!
Have you ever thought of bringing the produce into restaurants or farmer's
markets? Kristopher Corter of Growing Rogue will be joining us to discuss
how community gardens can partner to bring produce into the community.
Growing Rogue is creating temporary or semi-permanent gardens in various
urban areas so that local markets, restaurants and members of the community
have access to the gardens that are growing flowers, along with the food
they eat. Please join us!
Our next meeting will take place at St. Luke's Health Initiative in their
board room at
