I recently moved to Phoenix from SLC in July and I'm teaching at a small school in the Paradise Valley School District. I a working to develop a small garden (raised beds/container) on campus for my Enviro Sci, Biology, and Earth System student to learn science concepts hands-on. I am looking for someone somewhat experienced that could help me with the logistics/layout of the proposed garden space.
We have decent shade, water is very accessible, but I am unsure of what materials would work best to create the garden as well as where I can find the materials!
Thank you in advance!!!

Hi Paige,
Welcome to Arizona. I would love to help you out. I have a landscape design company and also started a non-profit called green school projects. Just yesterday I returned from the International Green School Conference in San Francisco where speakers from japan, Canada, Germany and Sweden to name a few spoke. We also toured over 8 school gardens, the Adventure Playground and the Edible Schoolyard. It was amazing!
My daughters go to a Montessori school in PV and I have helped them over the last year set up a garden group, install a rain tank, shade trees, raised beds and more.
I'd love to speak to you, help you out and maybe get you involved in our group.
