Growing Together, a giving garden has been started on a vacant piece of land at the SWC of 2nd Street and Glendale Avenue in the heart of Phoenix. Approximately 1/3 acre of irrigated property is being transformed into a garden and the harvest will be donated to smaller charities in the community. October 22, 2011 is a Make a Difference Day across the country and we will participate with a volunteer workday from 8 - 12.
