Hello Everyone,

This month's CoP Community Garden Meeting will feature Ronda Cronin of Growing Together Garden. Join us as we learn how the garden operates and overcomes common community garden challenges. Ronda is new to the community garden scene but has been accumulating knowledge for many years.  She became a Master Gardener in 2001 and completed the Desert Landscaper certification program through the Desert Botanical Garden in 2007.  Currently Ronda is the “Lead Gardener” and board member for Growing Together, a giving garden in North Central Phoenix.  The concept for the non-profit garden grew from the collective desire of the four board members to have a positive impact on their community.  Growing Together, a giving garden is a 501c.3 that donates their harvest to small local charities.

Growing Together Garden Mission Statement:
Our neighborhood brings together the gifts of our community to inspire hearts, plant seeds and sustain hope by growing, feeding, educating and nourishing the body and soul…using our hands and our hearts to serve others.

The meeting will take place on March 19th from 9-11 am (breakfast included) at the Growing Together Garden located at Glendale & 2nd St. Phoenix, AZ.
