Looking for Community Garden or garden learning opportunity

Hi, I am looking to plug someone I know into a community garden or a garden learning opportunity. (volunteer opps) 

Can anyone offer suggestions of spaces to work in or learn in close to 43rd Avenue and Sweetwater? 

The person would prefer about 40 mins or closer to that location.
