Garden Patch in Avondale

Hi all,

 We're breaking ground at the Garden Patch in Avondale on Sat. Feb. 26. The gardenis located at the end of Cold Spring Blvd across from the Avondale Civic Center Library.  Take Avondale Ave. south of Van Bueren St., take left at Cold Springs.  Bring tools/wheelbarrow to move compost and woodchips.

    Work begins at 10am, not 8:30, this Saturday at the garden patch.

    Awesome! I just moved to Avondale from a house up North and was so sad to lose my backyard farm. I'm right across the street from the Garden Patch, I can't wait to get involved!
